No event will get far without a budget. Management tools like eBudget help you allocate your event budget by effectively tracking expenses incurred in real-time and providing you with invaluable control and insights.

Our eBudget event management module also allows you to monitor your revenue streams and ensure event profitability goals are met. In a nutshell, eBudget has powerful capabilities that let you create your event budget for approval, track actual expenses, and manage costs in conjunction with incoming event revenue.

eBudget can:

  • Create the target (approved) budget for the event, assigning each item to an expense category.
  • Transfer expense items from the approved budget to the working budget and track actual expense items.
  • Link budget items to eReg (for example, registration revenue) so they are updated in real time. When an attendee registers, the system automatically updates the working budget to reflect accurate revenue or associated expenses. This allows you to avoid having to manually update all your information on an excel spreadsheet.
  • After the event, transfer expense items from the working budget to the actual budget and compare with the approved budget.
  • Report on the differences between the approved, working and actual budgets.
